Lamsco West's products are laminated shim stock; standard aircraft laminated shims, fillers and tapered shims as well as other select aerospace parts, which can generally be categorized as shims, stampings or flat pattern parts.
The laminated shim stock we make, which is not used to produce shims in house, is sold in sheets to the major airframe manufacturers, their major sub-contractors as well as a number of smaller shops, which support them. This material is available in thicknesses ranging from .006" to .500" and is manufactured from .002" or .003" foil in the following metals: brass, cold rolled steel, aluminum, titanium and stainless steel. Laminated shim stock is also made from .002" or .003" thick polyimide film for shimming composites.
